This is my favorite photo, is very old no? well, it is because it was taken in Bruselas, in 1927. This was a scientific congress called the Solvay's Congress. this congress have the name of Ernest Solvay, because he planned it. he was a great chemical.
The principal topic of this congress was "Electrons and Photons ", where the best world physicists discussed for the recently formulated quantum theory. These constructed a new way of understanding the world, and realized that to describe and deal to the nature they had to leave great part of the preconceived ideas for the human being along all his history.
This photo show to great scientists of the Science's history: To the left the persons most famous are Auguste Piccard, Max Planck, William Lawrence, and Marie Curie. In the center of this photo are Hendrik Lorentz, Paul Dirac, Albert Einstein, Erwin Schrodinger, Arthur Compton, Louis de Broglie. and In the Right of this photo, Wolfang Pauli, Werner Heinsenberg (he is my favourite physisit), Max Born, and Niels Bhor. I love this photo, because all they are my heroes! this picture was published on all the European's news papers, and this photo is a tresaure for anyone likes the science!
The most famous anecdote that has stayed of this conference was the led one for Albert Einstein and Niels Bohr when they were discussing brings over of the Heinseberg's Beginning of Uncertainty. Einstein commented " God does not play to the dice ", and Bohr answered him " Einstein, don't say to God what it must do with his dice".
